Dredd movie – A New Low? 2000 AD still in the Crosshairs

Dredd is right – could this movie be worse than the first?

I finally watched the Dredd trailer and now have even lower expectations for this movie. Yikes. Not looking for much of a move in the comic books, but watching just the same.

Judge Dredd’s first appearance was in the British comic magazine 2000 AD #2 that featured works of prominent U.K. writers such as Alan Moore. They are difficult to find, especially in high grade and CGC does not grade them. A copy described as Near Mint recently sold for $1,000. I’ve listed copies of 2000 AD #2 for sale below, so take a look at the current market and values. Make sure you look for the 1977 issue, it’s the first Dredd.
