Selling Comic Books on E-bay – The New Realities

Business Week ran this story about selling on E-bay. There is no doubt things are changing on the world’s largest auction site.

As one of our readers noted earlier in the year, the number of fixed price items is going up. The Business Week story verifies this is a direction that E-bay wants to continue. In addition to more fixed price sales, there are many other changes underway at E-bay. If you are a member of Comic Book Secrets, watch your e-mail this week for the latest newsletter. We’ll discuss the upcoming changes on E-bay, what you need to do now, and what to look for in the future.

E-bay has just announced a “Guest Buying” program and if you are selling comic books on E-bay (and you should be!) this is a very big development.

The program allows non-members to purchase products directly from you if certain criteria are met. The buyer does not have to be a registered E-bay user. This opens you products up to millions of shoppers who otherwise might not have seen your comics.

Click Here to read updates about this program direct from E-bay.

If you haven’t become a registered E-bay user and seller, there is no time like the present. I’m excited about the possibility to sell comics to this untapped market. The picture below will take you to the E-bay registration page.
