Nu Image/Millennium Films has announced the return of Red Sonja to the movie screen. The film will star Rose McGowan as Red Sonja. The film is presented by Robert Rodriguez and will be directed by Douglas Aarniokoski. Red Sonja is based on the character created by Robert E. Howard and adapted for Marvel Comics by Roy Thomas. She has also been had her own self titled comic book from Marvel Comics as well as an ongoing series with Dynamite Entertainment.
