Ughhh! Venting about Internet Explorer 7

Pardon me while I vent, but sometimes Microsoft makes me crazy!

I primarily use Firefox on a Mac to update the blog, but I travel quite a bit and carry an old Dell laptop for my “roadwork”.  I error and presentation check my websites on the laptop to make sure everything looks okay in Microsoft land.

I was checking out the front page of the blog this evening and I get a suspicious website warning!  “This site may be a phishing site.”

You’ve got to be kidding me! Well, I’ve submitted to Microsoft to have this corrected so we’ll see how it goes.  From what I can tell Internet Explorer doesn’t like any page with E-bay auctions on it.  I’m sure E-bay likes this.

I’m nearing my upgrade cycle for my laptop, so I may complete the transition to Mac.  Vista has rendered several of the programs I use obsolete anyway, so now is probably the time to switch.  I run XP through VMWare at home for a couple programs so really there is nothing is holding me back. Click on some of those ads you see on the blog and help me out (ha, ha).

Anyway, enough of the vent.  Thanks for reading, the real comic book stuff will be back tomorrow!

Batman: The Dark Knight Moves Along…

If you don’t want to know anything about Batman The Dark Knight, don’t visit the post below.

But if you do, click here to read a preview of the first six minutes of the movie shown on an IMAX screen.

I was very impressed with Batman Begins and after everything I’ve read and heard, I can’t wait until this movie is released!

How much is that Batman #1 in the Window?

Talk about comic book values!  Take a look at this beautiful copy of Batman #1 in CGC 9.0.

The book may actually be sold. If you look here under the pending sales, it is listed again.

$280,000 is an amazing price, and it helps solidify comic books as investment grade collectibles.
