Several months ago the USA Today published an article and poll asking who should be the villain in the next Batman movie. The Riddler won.

But the question I have is are we at the point where there should be an original villain in these movies instead of recycled comic book characters? The big screen is becoming a universe of its own for both DC and Marvel. Although the main characters tend to be the same, many of the storylines are heavily modified from the comics. If this alternate universe is going to continue should we see some fresh faces?

Iron Man 118– 1st War Machine, played by Don Cheadle
Sergeant Fury and His Howling Commandos 1 – the Nick Fury character continues to get more and more screen time, so I am watching

Iron Man 2 comic books are heating up, and a Tales of Suspense #97, the first Whiplash (the movie villain) sold for $896.25 in CGC 9.6 on January 31st. This sale was at Heritage Auctions.
