The first pictures of the much anticipated villain announcement for the upcoming Batman Dark Knight Rising movie has been released – Bane.

The comic book to watch here is the one shot Batman Vengeance of Bane. Hopefully the villain will be given a better showing than the pathetically campy treatment in the previous Batman appearance. If so, it makes me wish I hadn’t sold my CGC 9.8 copy a few years ago!
Batman Vengeance of Bane will now be on the radar.

Summer 2011 Comic Book Movies
Thor and Captain America – These two movies and characters are lead ins to The Avengers (Summer 2012), plus Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Black Widow and Hawkeye are also slated to appear.
