Avengers #4 is on Fire!

In this weeks market review I want to look at Avengers #4 (1st Silver Age Captain America) because this issue is on the move. I listed a PGX copy myself last week and it sold in under 1 hour (did I list it for too low? We’ll see). Anyway, with the Captain America Movie getting close, this issue is really moving on E-bay.

Take a look at these sales in the last week:

Avengers #4 Sales:
– CGC 3.5 $455 (27 bids)
– CGC 6.5 $838
– CGC 2.5 $382.77
– Raw copy described as Fine – $559.99
– Fair – $88.68

There are many more that sold, too many to list here. I’d suggest keeping an eye on this issue and I’ll use it as a case study in an update to the comic book movies product. Check out the link below for more copies currently for sale.

Steve Borock CGC Interview by STL Comics

If you would like to read an interview with a former grader and founding member of CGC, you can get it here. He gives his thoughts about how CGC has affected the hobby, restored comics (and their prices), pressing and more.

There are some interesting points and it’s fun to see how things have changed in the few years since the interview.

Enjoy!
