Amazing Fantasy #15 contains the origin and first appearance and Amazing Spider-man #1 is the first self-titled issue. Amazing Fantasy #15 is one of the coveted “million dollar” comics hitting a sales price of $1.1 million in 2011. Amazing Spider-man #1 hit $110,000 in 2005 for the CGC 9.6 White Mountain Pedigree copy.

The Incredible Hulk #1 is a key issue in the Silver Age Marvel universe. The character has not only proven himself over decades of comics, cartoons, and movies, the value of this comic book has put it in the “blue chip”comic book investment category.

As long as comic books remain a desired collectible, there is no reason to believe issues of Incredible Hulk #1 won’t hold their own against other “blue chip” Silver Age comics such as Amazing Spider-man 1, Fantastic Four 1, X-men 1, Avengers 1 and many others. The rumor is he will be in the 2012 Avengers movie, keeping him in the limelight for the time being.

The first issue is the issue to have, but don’t forget other keys such as Incredible Hulk 102 (first issue after a long hiatus) and Incredible Hulk 181, a key Wolverine issue.
