Detective Comics #27 CGC 9.2 Speculation
There is speculation that the Detective Comics #27 CGC 9.2 that just appeared in the CGC census may be a copy graded early in the company’s history and recently resubmitted. Below is a picture of the previous copy and I’ll be looking (along with thousands of others) to see if this is indeed true. We won’t know until the owner speaks or until we see a scan. In the meantime, enjoy!

High Grade Detective Comics #27 Surfaces
There’s a new high grade champion in town! Thanks to the CGC Census and this post at one of my favorite comic book blogs, we’ve seen a Detective Comics #27, CGC 9.2 appear.

The only higher graded copy is a restored 9.4. There is a very active movement to get a picture of this comic book and of course, a lot of hope that it will be offered for sale in the not-too-distant future. Do you have a scan of the CGC 9.2 copy? Let me know and I’ll be happy to post it!
