Hi
I love zombies movies and back in 2003 I purchased Walking Dead #1 , #2 until #20 before I got married and forgot about it. Recently I was surprise to find out that the value of these comics have gone up especially the first one. How do I know what is actual value of this comic. FYI, I sealed all my comics in a plastic bag in a very good condition.

1980's comic books are usually sold in bulk, especially in the numbers you have. If you decide to sell them you can go to a comic store and expect to get an offer of so much per book, 20 cents is not out of the norm, sometimes less depending on what you have. If you have a lot of Superhero books and they are in great condition it is probably worth your time to go through them and assign a value. With that many comics I usually recommend picking up a copy of the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and getting an estimate. If you want to send me the list I can give you some ideas about selling. Become a member and you will have the e-mail to contact me.

Hello Admin, I have just cataloged my collection of over 1300 comics (mostly Marvel mid 80's and some DC) and have an Excel document with them all on. Do you have any advice on who I could ask to look at this to see if it is worth selling as a collection? Many thanks. Peter WD

Sounds like a really nice comic book. If it is in the higher grades it may definitely be worth sending to CGC. The pricing is all over the place for actual sales. For example, over the last few years CGC 8.0 copies have sold anywhere from the low $300's to over $600. Food for thought.

I have a 1961 Batman annual w/1001 stories of batman, I have looked at it and ther is no evidence it has even been opened, there is no damage of any sort and only slight yellowing at the top 1/2" of the pages, otherwise crisp corners, wondering the value and is CGC grading worht it?
Thanks

Lisa - that complete a collection is definitely worth selling in my opinion, especially if they are in at least decent shape. You may want to try selling them as a complete lot on E-bay. Good luck and let me know if I can

I have a nearly complete 10 year collection, beginning with issue 1, of Conan the Barbarian comics. Is it worth much trying to sell, or are they only worth a few bucks each?

At best about $6-10 if it is in Good or Very Good condition, but if you try to sell it to a dealer they will probably only give you a dollar or so. It's not a high demand comic book. Is it the only one you have or do you have a run of them?
