Prepping Comic Books for Professional Grading

If you’re thinking of sending your comic books to CGC or PGX, you may want to do a quick check before they go out the door.

Contrary to popular belief, there are some flaws that will affect the final grade of your comic books that can be fixed.

Patrick over at comicbookcollecting.net has written about 7 condition defects to look for before you put your books in the mail.

    I was a bit surprised that you didn’t cover dirt and dried food in the prep article. There is a kneadable eraser available which is like play-doh in consistency which I understand does nicely and does not damage a book. Otherwise, I think you did well on the article and look foward to the follow up articles on prep and CGC submission.
