If you collect, buy or sell comic books (or any collectible) you know one of the biggest problems is getting new "stock" to sell.
The problem is not only getting new books, but also finding them at a low enough price that enables you to sell them for a profit.
I've bought and sold comic books for over 25 years, and this has been the most difficult aspect of the business.

The Quickstart Guide
The quickstart guide will get you started immediately. Terry has written this in checklist form so you only have to follow his step-by-step instructions.
This is a particularly strong part of the product. I've read several other books on this and other subjects, and you always seem to have to re-read and jump around to get an idea of what to do. The quickstart is concise and removes the guessing.
After you read the main strategy manual, refer back to this document as a quick reference so you don't miss any steps.
The 67 Strategies
The most powerful part of the package. This is the real substance. I've used several of these strategies in the past, but Terry added many, many more for me to try.
There is obviously too much to review every step here, but let me say you will be impressed.
Terry starts you on your way to getting more and more books flooding in. The first step in this process is developing a plan. You are taught how to develop a buying plan, how to choose successful strategies, how to test, and how to keep them going.
One of the problems for the beginner (and even experienced) collector is raising the cash to actually advertise for comic books. The beauty of Terry's system is the mixture of free, low-price (and by low-price I mean pennies) and paid advertising methods.
The 67 strategies also teaches you how to accurately test your efforts. This is the cornerstone of any business or hobby. There is no sense in investing time or money in a losing strategy. This system will teach you how to avoid this common pitfall and only use the methods that work.
The system also teaches you one of the most important (if not the most important) parts of buying comics - negotiating.
Once you find a comic book collection, how do you go about closing the deal? How you present yourself and what you do or say will make or break the deal. Say the wrong thing and you could literally lose thousands of dollars.
I've only scratched the surface of the strategies, there is much more included.
You could be overwhelmed with the information, but luckily Terry includes a Marketing Toolkit to help you out.
The Marketing Toolkit
The marketing toolkit includes thirteen documents to get you started.
These are cut and paste type Microsoft Word documents that you change to meet your specific needs.
The changes are usually minimal, just entering or deleting a few words.
These documents include the exact wording for items such as:
- Handouts.
- Val Pak Mailers
- How to talk to dealers
- Phone scripts
- Tracking sheets
- Critiques
Several of the major strategies are presented in the marketing kit so you can get off to to a quick start. There is no guessing, you are led step by step with real examples what to do.
The Minuses
No product is perfect, and as good as Terry's system is there is a downside.
The system is written for generic collectibles. Terry is able to expand his audience to make this venture profitable by doing this. His expertise is in trains, but almost all of the methods transfer perfectly to comic books.
I have personally used his handouts and buying strategies with little modification with great success.
Even though this is a very small limitation, Terry has fixed this!
